Completed doctoral studies in German performing arts. Alongside study in performing arts and cultural studies, worked in directing and producing performances and festivals. Later, out of a desire to extend that study of performance, began researching digital games. Translated Video Games for the Oppressed and The Ethics of Computer Games, and wrote Play for All: Rediscovering Digital Games and Toward an Ethics of Play in a Labor Society. Currently teaches and researches in German performing arts and cultural content.
