Lee Minju majored in Western painting and art theory. Writes and organizes a range of projects. Has curated Animal Loop (Gong-Won, 2019, co-curated), which examined the relationship between performance and performance documentation; Non-Caption Interview (An Unexpected Combination, 2021, curated), which illuminated the aesthetics and politics of the documentary image; and #2 (Doosan Gallery, 2023, co-curated), which explored the event-ness of the exhibition through the form of theater. Attending to the events and performative qualities that images produce, reflects on critical writing and researches the translational relationship between image and text.
