Became a gamer through a bond with the Pokémon series that began in 2007, though in 2023 declared a breakup with it. Even so, the line of output text from the Pokémon games—"The sunlight turned harsh!"—remains a life motto. Has lived a life of making fanzines whenever a new favorite game comes along, but since 2024 has taken up game criticism as a new language for appreciation. Sometimes writes and draws fan works under the handle "Runts."
