Professor in the Department of Culture and Entertainment at Kyung Hee University. Drawing on eleven years of experience in the entertainment industry—at companies including Nexon, NCSOFT, and CJ Entertainment—conducts research on consumer behavior and industrial policy across entertainment at large, from the game industry to tourism. Works primarily with the tools of economics, and lately has taken a strong interest in the business models of games and the behavior of game users. Having succumbed to the school's relentless pressure, has to date published research in 29 domestic and 17 international academic journals, with continuing publications in internationally renowned journals such as the Journal of Media Economics, Journal of Business Research, and Information Processing & Management.
