An elementary school teacher and a researcher of media and education. Holding to the belief that recognizing children's lives and culture within digital media—from comics and animation to games and AI—is the foundation of education, wants to understand more, though it's no easy task. Currently serves as president of the National Media Literacy Teachers Association.
